Parex USA Inc. (Anaheim, Calif.) announced the launch of a finish-accelerator product, Accel-Dry, reported to facilitate rapid dry of finishes, allowing jobs to be completed more quickly in wet and cold weather.
Quenton Roehricht, brand manager, said the accelerator is mixed into the finish by the applicator. The product also can also be used to reduce the extended drying time often associated with darker-tint colors. The company says the product has been tested for use in all its brands of acrylic and elastomeric finishes.
Parex Inc. is the parent company of the building-material brands Parex, Teifs, LaHabra, El Rey Stucco, and Merkrete.
